Beyond Housing shares benefits

We’re thrilled to share that solar has now been roughed in at one of the new social housing projects being delivered by Beyond Housing in Wangaratta as part of their community grant from the Glenrowan Solar Farm benefit sharing program.

Pacific Partnerships developed the solar farm, which began operations in May 2024 and is generating renewable electricity to power the equivalent of 55,000 Australian homes. UGL is undertaking the operations and maintenance at the 130MWdc solar project, which is located 2km south-west of Glenrowan, Victoria. You can find out more about the solar farm here.

The community benefit funding means that every new home at the site will be fitted with solar panels, helping future renters save on energy bills and making the homes not just affordable to rent, but affordable to live in.

The project is being delivered in partnership with Diverse Builders, and we’re excited to see it taking shape!
