Light Rail is a key part of the economic, urban and transformation of Canberra.
Canberra's light rail project will deliver high quality, reliable and frequent public transport down one of Canberra's busiest corridors.
Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors and UGL, as part of the Canberra Metro consortium, are delivering stage one of Canberra's light rail project for the ACT Government.
Together their roles span sponsorship, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and equity investment, over a 20 - year concession period.
Scope
The first stage of the Capital Metro project includes design and construction of a 12km light rail route from the fast growing area of Gangahlin to the city. There will be 13 stops, depot, road, signalling and preparatory works and the ongoing operation and maintenance of the light rail system.
